This is as a result of the sharp decline in the price of oil and gains in the rand/dollar exchange rate.
The Automobile Association expects petrol price to drop by as much as 27 cents per litre, with diesel down about 11 cents.
The price of gasoline was reduced to 32 cents in early October.
The new prices will come into play on Wednesday next week.
