The decision to bail pastor Timothy Omotoso has been adjourned until 4 November.
This was after he came into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
The controversial Nigerian televangelist has now been in solitary confinement for ten days.
He has been in police custody since his arrest in 2017.
His provisional release request failed multiple times.
Omotoso is faced with 97 charges ranging from rape and sexual assault to human trafficking.
He is indicted along with church members – Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho.
