Implicated Deputy national police commissioner, Bonang Mgwenya appeared before the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court in connection to a multi-million-rand tender fraud scandal.
The court has granted her R20,000 bail.
Mgwenya is accused of corruption, theft and money laundering relating to a R200-million tender for police emergency warning equipment.
She was arrested at her house during a pre-dawn raid this morning.
Several other officials were previously arrested in this case including former police commissioner Khomotso Phahlane.
Mgwenya is the thirteenth suspect to be arrested in connection to the multimillion rand tender.
The tender was meant to be used to install warning lights in police vehicles in 2017.
Service providers were allegedly paid R65 million but the police requested a total of R191 million for the project
The payment of R22 million was halted at the advanced stage after investigations into the looting of state resources began.
Mgwenya will return to court in November.
