Causes of Oneirophobia
Causes, like symptoms, will vary from person to person. Some people can also develop phobias with no direct cause at all. Most often, though, phobias are caused by a trauma
which usually occurs during childhood.
Symptoms of Fear of Dreams
Those who truly possess an excessive fear of dream will often exhibit some of the following symptoms:
- Anxiety
- Breathlessness
- Excessive sweating
- Dry mouth
- Shaking
- Being overly cautious
- Heart palpitations
- Inability to speak
- Becoming angry
- A feeling of detachment from reality
- Uncontrollable shaking
- Feelings of unsteadiness
