Discovering how to make your hair grow faster can be difficult, especially if you want to go the natural way. I know that when I cut all of my hair off (it was down to the middle of my back and I went up to just above my shoulders), I was devastated. I liked it for a week, but after that, I wanted my hair back. Learning how to make your hair grow faster naturally is easy, you just have to know the right methods! And I am going to give you 30 super tips on how to return to thick, luscious, long locks!
1. Trim your hair every 6-8 weeks
While it might seem weird to trim your hair while you are growing it out, you want to cut the dead ends off. In fact, it’s essential when you‘re learning how to make your #hair grow faster. Yes, hair does grow from your roots and trimming your split ends isn’t a way to make your hair #grow, per se. But if you don’t take care of #split ends, it could result in breakage and unhealthy hair, and you certainly don’t want that when you’re trying to grow your hair, do you? Trimming 1/4th of an inch of your hair every 6-8 weeks is great for you! We’ve gotten a lot of feedback on this tip but 9 out of 10 experts agree: you have to get rid of the dead ends or you’ll pay for it in the long run. Remember, you want your #hair to be long and healthy, not just long!
2. Get Hot oil scalp Massages
If you have a #best friend or a better half, why not let them give you a hot oil scalp massage? This is one of the coolest tips for making your #hair grow faster ever and it really works! Just heat up a hot oil treatment, rub it into your scalp, wait a little while, and you’ll see the difference — your #hair will feel thicker, softer, and longer! While you can always use a store-bought treatment, homemade hot oil treatments work just as well. Jojoba oil, #coconut oil, olive oils, and most other oils you like will do wonders; just heat it up and apply thoroughly.
3. Apply Egg whites to make your hair grow faster
A lot of people believe that this tip concerning how to make your #hair grow faster doesn’t work well, but egg whites have been known for their healing properties and their ability to replenish hair and restore its softness and shine! Just crack open a few eggs, strain out the yolks, and make an egg white mask for your #hair. Your hair will #look ten times healthier instantly and will feel a lot stronger as well — which, ultimately, will allow your hair to grow faster!
4. Essential Oils
If you want to make your #hair grow faster, essential oils can really help. Essential oils can be used all over your body, but if you’re trying to grow your #hair? I suggest mixing three drops of lavender oil, three drops of rosemary oil, and two drops each of thyme oil and cedarwood oil, along with some jojoba oil. All of this should go right onto your head and, I promise, the mixture will enhance your hair and make it #grow that much faster! Try it!
5. Brush your hair with care
I’m not saying over brush your hair though. We aren’t Marcia Brady who brushed her blond hair 100 times every night. Brushing the hair once or twice in the morning and once or twice at night will stimulate the circulation in your scalp, feeding the hair follicles and ensuring undisturbed hair growth. However, when your #hair is wet, never brush it. That causes severe breakage, which ultimately foils hair growth. Use a comb instead — wide-toothed combs are fine, especially if you experience tangles.
6. Do not blow dry when possible
I blow dry and straighten my hair every single day, so I know how horrible how hard it will be to avoid your products when you’re learning how to make your #hair grow faster. If you cut down on the blow drying though, I promise that your hair will be healthier and you won’t have nearly as many #split ends. I know that I’ve cut down to just four times a week (that’s still a lot!) and I can already see a difference!
7. Dont Skip on protein-filled foods if you want longer tresses
Did you know that what you eat actually makes a difference in how fast your hair grows? If you eat a lot of protein-rich foods, you will see a huge difference in the quality of your #hair, as well as the speed with which it grows. Things like fish, eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables, and even different meats all make a difference, so cut down on junk food and focus on #healthy meals.
8. Use that Potato water for your hair
Your #hair can actually get really dry and really brittle if you are lacking a lot of vitamins in your system. Vitamin B, for example, as well as optimal amounts of vitamin A and C are crucial for hair growth, so stock up on your vitamins and I promise your hair will get longer and thicker! Or, yes, you can definitely wash and rinse with potato water to get your vitamins! Daily multivitamins are helpful as well, as are vitamin treatments, or you can eat vitamin-rich foods.
9. Conditioner Treatment
In order to grow really #long hair, you have to have a super healthy scalp and also keep your own hair in good health. A deep #conditioner treatment each week honestly helps! Every #time I do a conditioner treatment, my hair feels like silk afterwards. You can either request such a treatment in your salon when getting your next hair cut, or do it at home with any natural #hair treatment you buy. I personally love Leonor Greyl’s Creme Generatrice, which was recommend to me by my fabulous hair stylist Ludovic. It does not give an instant result, like silicon-based Kerastase Masquintense Mask does, but the result it gives over time is much better in the long run. What types of treatments do you ladies use?
