Kea and Zinhle experience decidedly different after-effects from the Slaza. The girls have an impromptu Slaza party. Sabelo makes an appeal to the Khuses and Mampho drives home her advantage at the Metropol by getting the manager to approve a shift switch, against the host’s protocols.

Zinhle confessing some things to her mother – but not all. Mzi says there is no chance that the social worker’s decision will be overturned. Mapula breaks bad news to Dumi. Mampho is shocked to learn that the waiters have to pay for breakages themselves.
